About the Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup peanut butter

  • ⅓ cup honey

  • 2 scoops vanilla egg white protein powder

  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1–2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 4–6 tbsp milk, as needed

  • Optional: pinch of salt and cinnamon

Preparation

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until combined.

  2. Let the mixture sit for 2–3 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb moisture and thicken.

  3. Add more milk as needed until the mixture becomes soft and rollable.

  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes.

  5. Roll into bite-sized balls and store in the fridge.

Tips & Variations

  • Add cinnamon for a warm cookie dough flavor.

  • Swap peanut butter for almond or cashew butter.

  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

  • Add shredded coconut or flax seeds for extra texture and fiber.

  • Keep stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Recipe Notes

Egg white protein powder and chia seeds absorb a lot of liquid, so if the mixture feels dry or crumbly, add extra milk a little at a time until the texture softens. Avoid adding more peanut butter right away, since that can make the mixture overly dense.
