Egg Roll in a Bowl

About the Recipe


  • 1 bag of brown rice (I used a microwave bag prepared with bone broth)

  • 1 container of ground Turkey

  • 1/2 bag shredded carrots

  • 1/2 bag shredded cabbage

  • Soy sauce

  • Teriyaki sauce

  • Sesame oil or olive oil

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sesame seeds, and any other desired seasonings

  • Micro greens

  • Pickled beets


Step 1

Heat a skillet to medium- high. Place ground Turkey on pan with light oil. Use seasonings to taste

Step 2

Once the ground Turkey is almost done, add soy sauce & teriyaki

Remove the ground Turkey, place in a bowl to cool

On the same pan, add shredded carrots & cabbage. Use light oil. I also added a small spoon of minced garlic.

Season and sauce to taste.

Step 3

Once finished, add turkey to the vegetable mix to reheat

Step 4

Microwave or prepare rice beforehand

Plate rice, egg roll mix, and toppings in a bowl.

Serve & enjoy!
